What's in your bag

Luke Jermy: Director of Good People Design

We sit down with Luke, who always has a backpack with him wherever he goes. For a man with many talents - I'm sure there'll be a few surprises packed in here.

“I never leave the house without my Adventure Backpack Co backpack - without it I’m basically naked.”

Luke does the customary stand up and shake out the contents of his bag. Inside we find:

  • Rhodia Dot Webnotebook
  • Pencil Case with Sharpies and fineliners
  • Another small pouch containing charge cables and external memory sticks.
  • A (small) bag containing beard oil, hair wax and cologne - plus a beard brush
  • Post it notes
  • Bluetooth Headphones
  • Macbook Pro 15"
  • Sunglasses
  • Playing cards

Headphones and are notebook are basically two essentials. If you're ever caught in a situation where you have a bit of time up your sleeve - I can basically head to a cafe, or to a park and do a bit of sketching / idea planning whilst listening to tunes. Right now, I'm listening to a lot of Drake.

Every backpack should have a pack of cards. I can't count the amount of times a pack of cards in my bag has made the trip - it's a classic camp activity.

This also may be a bit of a rare one - but I do carry around what I call a bit of a "grooming bag" - it contains beard oil, hair wax and cologne.
